Excuse me, Paul & Wings attacked America (again) as well as the world. Their live album 'WINGS OVER AMERICA" and their ROCKSHOW concert om dvd showed you the way.
@hammer44head10 ай бұрын
I dont think Paul was ready till the mid 70's when he had enough solo material without dipping back into the Beatle catalog too much. In interviews he has said as much, that he was very reluctant to play anything but the songs he penned while in the Beatles and just a couple at that. That said, it would have been cool to see this early version of Wings play in the states, us Wings fans had to wait till the next lineup of Wings to see them in the states. The last few years more video of the early Wings shows are appearing on KZbin so we can finally see that they actually pretty good live and not terrible as the critics at the time said they were.

Sad that the 4 Beatles had chose different path of there career. Paul want to perform in the front of the audience while the other 3 were contented in making albums and not doing Concerts/Tours. Although George did one in 1975 but it was a Total Disaster. Paul until now is a Total Performer. That is why I like him most....

Paul needed her, he was habituated his entire career from age 15 to work within an intimate creative partnership. And Linda managed fine. Honestly her often slight flat vocals added blues notes to Wings that enhanced their sound enormously, and the DIY attitude of Rock for the people BY the people, as opposed to being reserved to pretentious teenage boys was absolutely golden.
