Paul McStay Testimonial Celtic v Manchester Utd 12/12/1995

A foggy night at Celtic Park as 37,000 fans turn up to honour Paul McStay in his testimonial match against Manchester United. Celtic won 3-1, scorers were Van Hooijdonk (2) and Chris Hay.

I travelled from Donegal for the game and was lucky enough to catch his jersey as he threw it into the North Stand. I was offered £1000 on the night. Money can't buy a souvenir like that. Class player who always gave his all.
