Normal people is one I’ll never get over. What a truly phenomenal show with such an impressive cast. Very few things have made me feel as many feelings as that show did. I’m happy to hear that he’s so proud of it - as he should be!

I was a recently divorced father with a young daughter when "Aftersun" came out and when I saw it, it absolutely broke me. When my friends asked me how do I feel I just told them to go watch Aftersun, since it is 100% how I felt at the time. Incredible film, and a very talented actor!

he's just this kind of person who obviously cares very deeply about his job and the characters he plays and still seems so awestruck by the other actors he is surrounded with, and i think that just makes him very charming and a person you want to know, because you can sense his kindness in the way he speaks and holds himself

Aftersun and All of Us Strangers have an eerie heartbreaking similarity, both offer a take on childhood memory, the depths, pain, and fragility? of a parent-child relationship. The relationship between both films and Mescals portrayal of both characters is so magnificent to me, I need someone to study and write a paper on it lol

When you find out what happened to his character in All of Us Strangers, it’s pretty devastating. I think I sobbed through the entire second half of that movie. When they show you his reality at the end and then go back to fantasy and Andrew is just holding him, It’s like a stab in the heart.
