Thank you dear Lord that we have the bible to read today, unlike the days during ancient times.

I love it when a pastor actually teaches the history and tells about the gospel, just as jesus asked three times, peter do you love me, and he kept repeating yes, why? Because 3 times was the highest, just like holy holy holy, why not just one holy, because at that time, 3 times repeated meant it was final, like the last word. So i love seeing pastors actually teach the gospel, not just read passages and tell stories about their lives but actually TEACH.....

I thought that was because he denied him 3 times so had to be restored 3 times 🤔 only just started listening so will see 🙂

It's because different words are being used. There are different words for different kinds of love in the greek language.

There’s so much meaning behind that moment that’s beautiful. He was also next to a fire when he denied him 3 times, and was next to a fire when he said I love you 3 times. Smell triggers our memory. Jesus also said do you “agape” me? And Peter said I “phileo” you each time. Almost like Peter’s broken spirit and contrite heart did not feel worthy to say he could agape Him, but only phileo.

You forgot to mention that Paul originally started as a pharisee that persecuted and turn in Christians before his vision of Jesus who ask Paul to follow and teach. I think this is a very important detail you left out

Almost every pastors I listen to them talk about Stories and his teaching in 1Corinthian and 2 Corinthian ,,,Paul wrote. letters to the 7 Churches ,,,,Seems like paul Stories is very interesting more than any others stories in the bible or jesus , john and Peter

Why do pastors have the people repeat phrases like “everybody say tent makers” or “everybody say place of judgement” 9:12 ??? Jus curious (and I don’t care for it; feels like he’s talking to kids)

What a weird contrast one brother preaches a false gospel and the other is an astute exegetical Bible teacher.

Well, why don’t you pray for him? The Devil is so dastardly that *IF* it were even possible, the very elect will be fooled. Many of us are fooled at one point or another. Having a large public forum seems to make you a target…

Ask yourself, did Jesus teach for laughter?
@THEKINGADVISOR14 жыл бұрын
Ask yourself did he not teach for laughter? Jests spoke for all emotional tugs. To hit all areas of emotion. Happiness, sadness, joy (laughter) anger. He feeds all ranges of emotion.

Your son Joel is not a Christian. He does not teach the gospel. He only wants to get rich. You should tell him to repent.
