Jerry West is in that group as well. I would probably put West above Wade, but that's another convo. Statistically speaking, he had more blocks & steals than Jordan & Kobe, but Jordan & Kobe were named to more All NBA Defensive teams. Pierce can not be talked about in this capacity, at all. If I remember correctly, he was never named to any All NBA Defensive teams, not even the ones in the lower tiers. He was only a scorer. In addition, before KG & Ray Allen, Pierce never saw a ECF & often times got eliminated in the 1st round. Meanwhile, Wade was a Finals MVP in 2006, 4 years before LBJ & Bosh joined Miami, before the Heat were a superteam. The implication of this speaks volumes. So to be real, it goes Wade > Ewing > Pierce, with Wade in context being levels above Pierce. If Pierce is Top 75, Wade is Top 30-35.

The statement that is in debate is if Paul Pierce had the teams that Wade had would he of had just as much success. If he was given one of the greatest gifts in basketball which is Shaq.
