Uniben. 2006. On my way to the main gate and I heard this masterpiece coming out of a parked GT food truck. The driver seemed to be in a trance, nodding his head to the beat. I just stood there transfixed. The whole time I thought to myself, this can’t be a Nigerian artist. I couldn’t ask the driver who sang the song so I just memorized a few lines. I visited all the CD vendors along my route home but none could give me the track…for two weeks! I was miserable. The song eventually came on radio and I listened to the end hoping the anchor would say the name and artist of the track and he did..”Forever by Paul play” Well, let’s just say I played this song on repeat on my CD player and later my MP3 player hoping I’d get tired of listening to it… It’s 2023 guys and I’m still hooked… Thank you Paul I.K Dairo❤

I had this crush on this girl named Sandra 😍 we were from the same state and her mum and my mum were friends, sandra was fair and very pretty, I would always look out for music class on Fridays because that is the day we go too her class for combined classes... Well I remember hearing this song on the radio and singing it to her under the mango tree outside the school gate... I always felt heart broken even if my heart wasn't broken, but mhen!
