indy_go_blue60 This is Opera is a good channel for explaining why many modern 'professional and serious' singers have put people off listening to good music. It is the faults of their teachers as well as producers and even conductors for training them wrongly. Paul isn't among the best voices ever. He doesn't claim to be. His voice doesn't make me cringe like some modern opera 'singers' do, though. I enjoy listening to him and would pay to hear him live if I heard he were to perform local to me.

Paul is one of my favorite singers. The only other singer I truly love was the late, great Freddie Mercury. Bothe have voices that are a gift from God. No one “learns” to sing like that.
