Im feeling the same feeling I had when Michael Jordon Retired from basketball. I didn't pick up the game until I watched the 2006 national championship between Cuse and Cornell and I was hooked. then I watched the MLL and seeing Paul Rabil hitting those goal made me a fan for Life. THANK YOU RABIL

Paul Rabil means more to lacrosse than any athlete's ever meant to their respective sport. Yeah, I said it.

Tom Brady is great for football but he didn’t go out and create a a new and better professional league as well being the best in his sport. Only Rabil could and did pull off this.

No way to even say that. For lacrosse? Most deffinently but you can’t compare that across other sports just doesn’t make sense

Best player of all time. He is the reason so many of us fell in love with lacrosse.

I walked away from the game when I graduated high school after playing for 10 years. To see my literal childhood idol retiring, after the hundreds of hours I spent watching his film, going to MLL games back in the day, and trying to be just like him through my play … makes me feel some type of way. I wouldn’t have loved lacrosse for so long without Paul, and I certainly wouldn’t have been nearly as good as I was without his influence. The fact we “retired” from the game in the same year, after playing for 10 and 20+ years respectively, is sort of a cherry on top even if it’s just a coincidence. Thank you Paul, for inspiring my entire playing career from day 1, and being one of the greatest ambassadors for any sport in history. I don’t expect you to read this, but congratulations on such an illustrious and decorated career. There’s never been and never will be a greater player 🐐

Lot of Kool Aid drinking fanboys here. Rabil is about top 50 and is nothing but a tall, shot-happy narcissist that over-hyped and relentlessly marketed himself to susceptible young viewers' minds. Maybe have good look at the Powell brothers, John Grant Jr., Tom Marechek and the Gait brothers Gary and Paul, if you want to see what true innovation and utter excellence really is. Rabil is simply not anywhere near the best of the best, and deep down he knows this.
