Great guitar! How did you get gold top on CE? I can't see that color anymore on their wsite, only available for customs. Gibsons have maybe the coolest tone, but PRS are much more versatile

I can't decide between a new CE 24 or the 2018 gibson studio with 57's. I hear the CE is brighter than the core. Which would you get if you liked all music but mostly 80/90s rock.

Honestly if i had to have one i would choose the Gibson Studio and i will tell you why. PRS have unique metal hardware that has a love it hate it distinct sound. PRS are VERY different sounding. A Gibson LP studio is a more familiar and good tone. Also as i find that the Studio is not much of a step down from a Standard or a Traditional. I personally think a good LP studio is Gibson's best value.
