Paul’s Bold Proclamation

The church today tends to address our culture’s errors either through admonition or accommodation. But there is another way, says Alistair Begg: the apostle Paul addressed the intellectual and spiritual leaders of his day through proclamation. With loving conviction, Paul boldly spoke against opposing views and pointed his audience towards repentance in Jesus Christ as the hope and solution. Though the issues we confront may change throughout time, proclaiming the Gospel will always remain the ultimate answer.

I attended "church" all of my youth, sang all the songs, participated in the choir, but never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached. How sad. I had had many "experiences" with my Creator during those many years, but when I would ask about what I had experienced, it was dismissed, "Oh, that was just an emotional reaction to _______." Crushed, just crushed. ~30 years later, I "met" Jesus while singing "How Great Thou Art" in church. I gave my life to Him that night. I am His & He is mine!!!
