Cummings and Denham settle down to fight it out. Cummings a length in front at the furlong, now a half, Denham inch by inch getting to him... Denham now on terms, now a head in front, now a neck... Cummings battling back, he won't give in without a fight..... it's neck and neck, these two mammoth tossers of the Australian turf locked in a titanic struggle, it's Cummings. Denham, Denham, Cummings, it's heads up, heads down as they reach the line and it's.....Cummings by a nose! Bart Cummings has won it by a nose from Denham...with Wayne Harris about eight or nine lengths back in third a whisker in front of Colin Hayes. Well, what a race! Cummings, who couldn't string two sentences together if his life depended on it, looked beaten a half a dozen times up the straight but he's dead-set picked himself up off the canvas and nailed Mumbles right where it counts to win by an absolute breath. Even though you can't stand us, we love you Bart!

That was bad! I love Bart he is an absolute legend and I have nothing but love for the Footywrap and the great work u guys do. But it is a little disrespectful to ask Bart about early mornings and his favorite track, u need to go a little deeper than that! He's a trainer ask him about horses!
