Paul's Scarlet Hawthorn - A Sad Story | Bonsai | Unboxing

In this video: I receive a package; it's two Paul's Scarlet Hawthorn trees that I ordered online.
One of them is mostly healthy, the other looked dead, and may not survive what I did to it.
I also tell the story of Paul's Scarlet Hawthorn tree that I took delivery of that turned out to be just a normal Hawthorn! Would I ever get a Paul's Scarlet Bonsai Tree?
I had to pot one of the hawthorn trees in a pond basket after a trunk chop - a trunk that was more dead than alive. The other, I quickly planted in the ground as I was keen on it surviving!
With the original unboxing video, the angles were off so instead of just wasting the footage, I scaled it down to one-third of the screen size and sped it up to match the length of the second video, plus I removed the sound of the original to make it easier to listen to.

I'm sure it doesn't help but we received two Paul's Scarlett form the same company in just about the same condition. Well packaged but very disappointing

Sorry to hear that. On the receipt they claim to give a 12 month guarantee on all plants and bulbs. I've contacted them ask asked if it's the same for trees, and sent them a link to my video. Fingers crossed.

I phoned them Bill and I didn't find the staff there really helpful. Hopefully you'll have more success.
