Hi, I had a total laryngectomy 8 years ago at a hospital here in the UK. I don’t know whether or not your treatment is available here, but I was very impressed with your outcome. How can i talk to some one about this. I might have a reoccurance of laryngeal cancer and my head and beech surgeon says the only option i have is removal of my voice box.

I am from and diagnosed laryngeal cancer a month ago. We don't have this advanced treatment. I don't talk or I can't talk for more than a month because I have hoarse voice. I don't know what will happen to me.

I had a total laryngectomy on August 4th 2023, wish i had this procedure. I live alone and cannot speak, it sucks

I am in your same situation so I hear you. I had a total laryngectomy earlier this year and waiting for a speaking tep/prosthesis to be able to speak. Aren't you going to get one?

@@MKS700-vv3tt I finally found a speech pathologist who is talking with my surgeon. My plan is to get the tep procedure and hopefully placement of a voice prosthesis here in a few weeks
