Excellent overall description of what seems to be an excellent pole case.

Another excellent video paul, price seems to have gone up considerably since I purchased mine about 2 yrs ago. However I would'nt be without it now, for me it works better if you move the spool clamp to the hole above so that the line comes on to the pin at an angle.

Thanks for the good feedback. I was a bit reluctant to buy, but now wouldn’t be without it. Thanks for the tip.

Great video as usual. Being an avid diyer I could easily make one and save £80. I also have loads of charts with shot sizes and pole float weight conversions. One great tip for moving and removing shot on line is a Stonfo Levapiombo. I would not be without one of these when fishing or making rigs. You can pinch shot on to fine line very hard and slide them about easily with no damage. Also the other end makes it a doddle to remove shot when needed. Tight (and damage free) lines

Thanks for the good feedback. Unfortunately I have time but not the skills to make one myself. I’ve found the Balebini shot ok to move without line damage compared to other brands, I’ll definitely look at the Levapiombo.

How about putting cut down bits of the most used float rubber diameters you use in those pots? Nice video.🙂

This is what In was looking for! Thanks Paul! I have a quick question, is there a lot of difference between Accu power and Reflo power?
@paulstacklereviews1695
@paulstacklereviews1695 Жыл бұрын
I’d say Reflo has a bit more stretch and isn’t as supple, but is slightly stronger (based on actual diameter). That said not a lot between them, both very good lines with strong followings. If you use reflo just use it knowing it’s actual diameter is 0.02-0.03 higher than stated on the spool.

Another good informative video, I have been considering getting one myself. I much prefer to put my shot on using the Alan Scotthorne method, but I suppose you can still use the rigmate in conjuction. Also one of the best and simple tips I have come across is the Mark Pollard tip for making up new rigs 👌 check it out on KZbin, saves a lot of messing around 😀

@@alanmeasures8337 not sure mate what it was actually called? It was a top tip from Polly, one of those short videos, basically he just showed you how to attach your new line onto your old pole rig, then pull your new line through the pole float rubbers, so simple but so useful 👍
