Paul Scholes epitomises everything that is still good about the modern day game. No media bullshit, no stories about him in the paper, just turns up to every game he's chosen for, plays his part and goes home. I'm 20 years old now and have grown up watching Paul Scholes and have always been a huge admirer of his talent. United can sign Sneijder, Modric, or whoever to 'take his place', but none of them will ever be able to fill Scholes's boots.

I started watching BPL from 1999. Always a Red Devil fan. Now all of those childhood heroes are retiring one by one. Each year one of the stars of football I cherished watching is no more playing. Out of the playing 11 of the treble wining team only GIGSY remain. Makes me sad and content that I had an awesome childhood watching them. Regards from India.
