About Austin City Limits
ACL offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. The program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL is the longest-running music series in American television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts. Since its inception, the groundbreaking music series has become an institution that's helped secure Austin's reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World. The historic KLRU Studio 6A, home to 36 years of ACL concerts, has been designated an official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark. In 2011, ACL moved to the new venue ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL received a rare institutional Peabody Award for excellence and outstanding achievement in 2012.
ACL is produced by KLRU-TV and funding is provided in part by Dell, the Austin Convention Center Department, Shiner Beers and HomeAway.com. Additional funding is provided by the Friends of Austin City Limits. Learn more about Austin City Limits, programming and history at acltv.com.

The greatest artist/songwriter of all time. If I'm ever tired of my ipod I put on Paul Simon - doesn't matter what era. From Hey Schoolgirl and You Can Tell The World, to the latest album. Thanks world for letting Paul Simon in.

Mr. Paul Simon. Great song! I was young when I first heard this many years ago. I liked it then. I love it now! Thanks

I first heard of Simon & Garfunkel in mid-1965. I've loved and collected nearly all the music they've ever done, both as solo singers and as a duo, and managed to see a few of their concerts, and I can honestly say they've never done a piece that I didn't like. Fifty years of wonderful music and lyrics -- solo or duo, the world's been a better place since they began singing in it.

Paul Simon is an absolutely AMAZING songwriter - where in the world does he come up with these songs.... I grew up to his music back in the 1960's, and he just keeps writing amazing songs. Remember "Punky's Dilemma".... Wow, just wow....

Lol, as someone used to going to Metal and Hardcore shows, the audience looks so strange to me. You mean you can have fun and not get punched or kicked in the face?! 🤯 I love some Simon and Garfunkel tho, as well as Paul's solo stuff. ❤️ Such a wonderful song writter. 🤘
