I remember watching this "live" when I was a young guy. He sold it so well, I actually wondered if he was acting or not. Watching it now, I'm just laughing my ass off.

Gene Burnett I remember watching this with my mother back when it was live. I didn’t realize if he was serious or joking. I was 10 years old and didn’t understand tongue in cheek type.

I would've been 7. If I was watching, I don't remember, but I love the fact that this happened. Late night television was so wild and fun -- even into the 90s before it went sour.

I recall that the first couple of years of SNL they would provide an address that you could mail your request for tickets. My friends and I always talked about going to NYC to see the show, but we never did.

The duets Paul did with George Harrison on this episode are masterpieces. 2 men, 2 guitars, each with a song they'd written, Homeward Bound and Here Comes the Sun, pure magic. 2 of the best music performances ever on SNL.

I love these old classics mixed in .They are amazing they are all wonderful people Chevy crazy , Adam Sandler , Chris Farley, Dana Carvey , Mike Myers , ect. Tells you how old I am when I stated watching . This brought back happy memories thank you the cast ,crew , and guest appearances on SNL.

SNL was a get together & watch it show before we went out.It was attitude adjustment hour. Beers & giggle sticks. This was a memorable SNL night because seeing Paul Simon in a turkey outfit was so so jaw dropping hilarious. I'm happy to see it again so I can hear all of what he is saying. Back then we were doubled up, tears on our face, can't catch our breath laughing. Thank you SNL for the happy times.

When I first heard about this sketch, It was from an article that said “interview with Paul Simon”. In that article was a transcript of the sketch, And I’m sitting there reading “do you want to be Mr. alienation, you can be Mr. alienation but I feel this is been a total disaster…”. And I thought to myself, “Paul Simon is a jerk. He can’t take a joke!” Then I saw the actual sketching realize they were just quoting the sketch and I laughed to myself.
