I have been a colt customer all of my adult life. I am very pleased with my 6 in 2021 Anaconda, I have ran almost 2,000 magnum rounds through it. It runs like a world champion. I am excited for the future of Colt.

I pray Colt keeps embracing their routes and making new and improved iconic guns like the python and anaconda. I wish they would make more retro guns like 1911s and M16s and make them more available. There is a huge market for older colts and retro guns.

Ive always been a fan of Dan Wesson and there philosophy of making high quality production 1911s without compromise or shortcuts and if Colt could learn from them and adopt some of there production secrets Colt would have the nicest production pistol on the planet! I see amazing possibilities with this merger all they got to do is make it happen!

The new 4.25 Anaconda is a beautiful looking handgun. Hopefully, Colt will have these on the dealer shelves in the next couple of weeks so we can check them out in person.

Colt lw commander was my first handgun, added a 71’ detective special and a new colt python 6”, very happy with them all. I’d love to see Colt release a modern detective special with the round trigger guard, and a lightweight - to compete with the airweights- and a 2011 / double stack 9mm line… a colt lever action and even a duty polymer 9mm to compete with the sigs and shields would be cool also.

Hope Colt CZ does the right thing. I got one of the last USA made colt 45 1911 officer models. It’s my favorite firearm for EDC. Had it engraved by a shop that’s run by ex veterans. Class act shop they got in Arizona

The new Colt CZ Group has brought about the best Colt Anaconda redux that really makes it the most affordable double-action 44 magnum with longer and wider cylinder and thicker top strap. And a new Colt Python upgraded action on it.

It’s actually a 4.25 inch barrel which makes even that length legal to handgun hunt with.

We, or at least I, wanted to hear this conversation. Since I was four years old, I have been a Colt fan; my grandmother having given me a family heirloom Colt. Just as Paul is enthusiastic about the future for Colt-CZ, I feel sure there are thousands of Colt lovers feeling the same way.

I’m going to be the first to say this. I don’t want nothing to do with a CZ Colt. I own 2 USA made original Colts and I’m happy with them. I’m still looking for original Colts that are still collecting dust on gun shop shelves. They are slowly disappearing. One gun shop owner said to me the other day. I haven’t seen any Colts with CZ markings on them yet. I’m starting to have trouble keeping original Colts in stock. They’re just not making them anymore and a lot of people don’t know that.

None of that is true. There will be no Colts with CZ markings. They are still made in the Colt plant in Hartford CT.

I love colt. Would like to see they would bring out some old beautiful classics. Like colt new line or thunderer lightning or rainmaker. Or even colt m1917. Colt had very nice guns. Bring them out again. Go on colt.

I wish you asked Mr Spatlie , how many years ( decades ) the public has to wait for a Colt website that at minimum , is simply well thought out ? For example : When looking at the Spec Sheets for the Colt Semi Autos ; some models list firearm weight , while other models do not list the weight . A standardized spec sheet across all Colt semi autos or all revolvers , is the type of general planning idea I would expect from a high school Junior ; let alone a world class company.

Always have been a huge Colt fan and have also usually been the minority in most groups due to Colt’s poor QC in the past and their relatively high cost. It’ll be nice to pay Dan Wesson prices and also get DW quality but with a pony on it!

Colt has not been a respected name for many years now. I hope that CZ is stepping in and rebuilding this iconic brand. I also hope that CZ did not let the same Colt management that ran that company into the ground stay in those positions. There is lots of talk on places like CZ Forum and people are very worried about Colt bringin CZ -USA down. Sure would appreciate Colt/CZ-USA being more vocal about what is goin on behind the scenes. There are tons of CZ loyal fans out here that would like to know what is goin on. CZ customers love the guns, but we also love CZ-USA as a company.

Colt always fail to introduce models their customers want. Finally getting back into da revolvers , they ignore the obvious. First an alloy frame plus rated 2 inch 38. A 2 inch fixed sight 10 shot Cobra. A 45 Colt Anaconda. A 22 Single Action . Last a cost competitive SAA in stainless, 347 and 45 Colt
