Great interview Paul was so right when he was saying about why it's under studied. I studied behavioural ecology and never paid much attention to mushrooms I mean I knew they kept the trees alive through degrading but that was it. I've recently heard about mycology and Paul's work and I think its it's absolutely amazing.

Paul is right that mushrooms can bring people with different ideologies together. In fact, i think humans are so divided and angry, mushrooms may be the only thing that has the possibility of uniting us.

After getting some little blue dried caps earlier this year, I’ve become so fascinated with mushrooms and not just the “magic” ones, I love all of them lol, my 20 year old self wouldn’t know what to think lol Mushrooms are really cool and I can see how Paul Stamets loves them so much and all this makes sense. It’s a great hobby and I dig it👍🍄

Omg, same here, started with the magic one's 4 years ago, now my love for mushrooms has grown and I know will keep growing, that's the beauty of this, I keep been blown away by their power, mushrooms will save humanity if we wake up to them, they are our teachers and we forgot about them, I feel sorry for those who have not been or seen their potential but I myself feel so blessed and grateful for being introduced to them ❤ 💙 🍄🍄💯💫💕

Can fungi be used to destroy plastic materials and solve the problem of plastics contaminations. I had observed that in hot humid tropical climate the plastic materials tends to degrade faster which never happen in temperate countries.
@skepticalgenious Жыл бұрын
I could be incorrect however I think there are some that do this and some that have been found to specialize certain plastics or oil's. They can also kill certain bugs. So yeah they could be extremely useful in multiple ways. I can only imagine the things it could be applied letting living being's do what they love.
