This track revolutionized trance, that is the first modern'ish sounding trance tune. If not for those old school drums, there's no way you would think this is from 1994 and not late 90s, which is crazy if you understand how rapidly and dramatically trance and all EDM changed from early 90s to late 90s. With this track, in my opinion, trance has entered peak era which ended in around 2000. Then slow decline afterwards.

It just proves the point that everything after the 90's era is just a remixes
@mogg-ri4uj2 ай бұрын
@@Nitrucha I think I it's partly because that type of genre and tempo was fresh back then, whole EDM. 90s music revolution was nothing like ever before or after, new technology, fresh minds allowed such sounds to blossom. After 90s, sound got too modern, too sharp and less and less creative. Also there were less and less balance in trance tunes as they were overwhelmed with high pitched sounds, every track started to sound almost the same. Not all that bad, but I would compare 2000s with 1980s in terms of satisfaction you get from music. 1990s was something else, even mainstream dance music became as satisfying as drugs. Millions of lightyears ahead of what EDM is now (I would call it business rather than music which should be an art form). And I'm born in the late 90s, so that you know that I'm objective mind rather than someone overwhelmed with nostalgia. I constantly find insanely satisfying tracks even today from the 90s. For example, it's crazy but I never heard "Hardcore vibes" by Dune before 2 days ago, even though I listened to 100s if not 1000s dance tunes from the 90s. Probably because that track is rave'ish and I am not a big fan of rave. But that track is out of this world, it made me emotional even, listened to it like 20 times already.

Considering that this was from the era of Culture Beat, La Bouche, The Real McCoy and Rednex, this definitely has more in common with the late 90s trance acts like Sash and ATB. Moby, Paul Van Dyk and Underworld (after they ditched new wave and went techno) were probably the first ones out of the gate with "futuristic" sounding trance!!
