This was a really exciting game! It’s easy to to look at the free throw disparity and say it was unfair but it’s all about the mentality of both teams throughout the game and Paul VI’s defensive game plan. That zone messed up everything for SC to the point that they had to take out one of their most productive players in Kijani Wright. Paul VI came to play(again for those who didn’t watch their first matchup). Ultimately though, SC coaching may have to get a little better about when it comes to playing against their opponents strengths. The comment was made early in the game by the announcers that speeding up this team played to their strengths and I agree when you have players like Dug and #5. Bronny seems to fair better on any non high school regulation court due to all the space, which says a lot moving forward for all you haters out there lol. Great game!

As you see, Paul VI used theirs. More team play from P VI. SC did some good passing in transition...but their half court offense was NOT as solid...caused them the game. But good effort and game overall...but it's the little things that get you a victory in "The 'Ship"...when good defense isn't enough!
