For God sakes! if you insist on misrepresenting what Atheists believe then of course you can prove a point. Atheists don't believe 0+0=1. What lying idiot told you that? Theist seem to think because 0+0=0 and they don't know where this all and where we came from that that some how proves that "their" particular God exists.n It proves nothing of the kind. Atheists ONLY believe "your" God doesn't exist, just like all the other Gods "Religions" claim to exist. Is there a God?? Who knows. Your "God" doesn't because there is no reason to believe he does. "He" as in your God as opposed to zeus or any other God people have dreamed up. As an Atheist, if there is a God, it's not like any of the hundred or thousands of pathetic delusions man has dreamed up. Yours included.

***** How much more evident does God have to become for people to believe in Him? Is nature not enough? Is your own life not enough? I do not mean life as a composition of the past, present and future, and in relation to society and other people. I mean “life” - that “something” that differentiates the living from the dead. Man is somehow deluded into thinking he is keeping himself alive. Lifestyle and life choices have an impact on the quality of life but it does not generate “life.” That in itself makes me acknowledge a being far greater than I am. Believing God will always be a personal human choice. The Pharaoh in Moses' time chose not to believe even after the plagues (Exodus 7-12), the Israelites themselves had the audacity to worship a golden calf while Moses was on the mountain speaking with God (Exodus 32), they were also prone to rebellion against God who have sustained them with food from heaven their entire stay in the desert, and the people turned their backs on Jesus even when they saw firsthand all his miracles, signs and wonders. God has always been evident. We just don’t want to accept and choose not to believe. Or we reserve belief until we are satisfied with the “evidence.” Doubting Thomases, we are: Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said unto him, “My Lord and my God.” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:27-29)
@GospelBearer33849 жыл бұрын
***** I know that to be true. I will never ask you to take my word for it but an open mind is a great start. Ultimately, it will always be a personal choice. I'll leave it at that. :)

Christians look at a puddle of mixed paints, and claim it's a painting and that that's proof there's an invisible magic painter who painted everything.
@tomatodamashi10 жыл бұрын
So let me get this straight. The argument is: nature is beautiful; therefore god. Well Paul walker likes snowboarding so what kind of nature does he see. Trees - those trees weren't always there, they grew from seeds dropped by previous/older trees, and so on back through time. Those mountains were not always there, they were created either through volcanoes or tectonic shifts. The snow - well put simply a lack of water in the air and lower air pressure lowers the ambient temperature of the surrounding air, turning water particles to snow at the tops of mountains. Where does God come into this? So he created everything? Well the sun and the Earth, basically they only need 3 things, stuff, time and gravity. As large masses group together over time, centrifugal force and gravity work on these masses to create their spherical shapes and sizes. As for life on Earth, at first we had very little oxygen, but we had a lot of other elements, some of which were in water. Basic amino acids clung together, eventually getting more complex, creating rudimentary DNA, cell walls, and so on. All of this led to the diversity of life on Earth. The fossil records and the DNA records COMPLETELY agree with evolution. Furthermore, looking at the diversity of the human genome, we are far too diverse a species to think that we are the product of massive inbreeding (the Christian model: not only Adam and Eve's children, but also after Noah's ark). We cannot disprove god unequivocably, but we can test the claims made about him, and they all fall short. It is amazing, wouldn't you agree, that before scientific concepts, Gods miracles were much larger in scope, insofar as parting the red sea, Jonah and the big fish, and creating different languages because the Tower of Babel was too high (I wonder if God approves of all our skyscrapers), while now he is limited to appearing on toast...

The big problem with this “believe in God” or “don’t believe” is those that supposedly “believe” think that’s all they have to is “believe in God” and they go to heaven. There’s a lot more to it than that! Jesus said many go to hell and few go Heaven. You must be born again of his Spirit, and that Spirit only comes by the Word! “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD OF GOD which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Peter 1:23)

@HumanistFox Um 1 the Bible did not come together by itself. That's not what he believes nor I. God inspired it. Thus, the Bible coming together by itself is what you believe since there is no God. We believe and we know the Bible came together because of God. So your "claim" is ineffective for your argument.... 2. Believe it or not, like or not, since that you're the one that believes God is not real, not only you gotta support your belief there is no God, you gotta support why and how the Bible came together "if" there is no God. That is his point.. this also would be intellectual suicide. You can't prove God does not exist. You can not prove the Bible came together by itself, with no God whatsoever. 3. I highly suggest you watch Frank Turek videos.. You will absolutely learn a lot more than what you may realize.... "I don't have enough faith to be an atheist", "Stealing from God" great books by him. 4. Your comment does nothing to prove your beliefs, if you really believe there is no God. Prove it. Since you are made in his image and likeness, it is incumbent upon you to prove your own non-existence. Literally the same as someone trying to prove there is no such thing as oxygen, not believing oxygen is real, while breathing oxygen........ Seriously good luck to you.

Well actually there is always something in nothing. I mean God's always been there and He made this world out of something, His words.

What do all religious peoples lives end in? Life after death. You're all just afraid to accept the fact that we are here one minute and gone the next, so you need something to believe in, something more. If you all want to follow your lives by a set of rules that someone made up years ago then do it, but you shouldn't try to convince us we are wrong for what we believe in. We are not all slaves to a higher power, some of us believe we should live by our own choices and not have them made for us.

I can go on and on about him but there is a movie you can watch that would help you under stand. His name is Jesus Christ" Passion of the Christ" is the movie.. He died for me and you over 2000 years ago on a cross for our screw ups. He came into the world showing us how to live the crazy life we have, which is recorded in the " BIBLE" to give a us way to heaven. again that is a very short version but there's SO much more to him!

The only things that an atheist admires in this world are himself and his computer screen.

I could say the inverse of Walker’s statement and point out that the very trees and nature he sees weren’t always there and came from billions of years of rock formation and evolution, and think “Who could believe there is a god?” It’s not a mistake. It’s billions of years of continuous progress.

1.4 million kinds of animals. You just heard Ray Comfort say it. So he thinks 2.8 million kinds of animals all fit on an arc 1/3 the size of the Titanic and he thinks Atheist are crazy? This man needs a reality check.

It is always funny when religulous people make fun of atheists believing that something came from nothing, but they do the same with God. They think God came from nothing. How can they not notice that?? For real!?

You keep making the assumption that atheists have a definite answer to the beginning of the universe just like creationists. Well, we don't, and we are happy to accept that.

1 thing ppl don't understand is that atheism is a religion. I'm a Christian and I agree that atheism is stupid but I don not believe that Paul walker was one and I think it's wrong and disrespectful for this channel to use his death to disprove atheism. You should never argue with an atheist in the first place. but one thing I always say, if I'm wrong for believing in God then that's ok if he doesn't exist.. but what if you're wrong and God really does exist...(in which He does) think about it.

jerahmia In the Bible, God tells Moses, "I AM." God is the alpha and the omega. He has no beginning and no end. God IS. When we define "something" it must have a beginning and an end.

Curiosity. Let's be sincere if one religion was indeed true, which one will it be and why?
