I still remember when I heard about his death... I was at a restaurant and I passed it off as one of those fake news reports that were popular at the time where celeb deaths were reported before they were confirmed. His death hit me harder than any other celeb I can think of. I grew up right out of HS watching TF&F movies and they are always my all time fav and go to series. He died too soon and his death hurts...

I've always been one of the biggest fans of the F&F franchise. I actually met my best friends because of my and their love of cars. After Paul Walker passed, the movie went down. He really was authentic in his love for cars and I think that's what shined through over time. I didn't know him but I can tell he was a very down to earth person and the franchise is missing that present day. Good interview!!

The cars in Fast and Furious were a lot more attainable for teenagers, could get you an early 90s Honda throw a soup can exhaust on it, throw an air intake on it and some wheels and go to town for back then a couple thousand bucks. The cars in Gone In 60 Seconds were all pretty much Barrett Jackson level of dream cars

Litte bit of the backstory. I was heavily into modifying my 1997 Civic Ex coupe back way before this movie was filmed I had put my first Nitrous kit and AEM air intake in the car and some rims. I was working out of the Fontana area and I got invited to a presentation they called it "Redline" The local flyer was asking for people with modded cars especially imports to attend. I did attend with my Black Honda 1997 Civic and it was at the San Bernandino Abandon Air Force airport. I had no clue who was in the scene what was it all about just thought sure why not Its about import cars I am all into that. So it turned out that it was for the filming of the RACEWARS in the DESERT scene. My car got picked to go to the front of the cast area near the strip. I was stoked. and that is the first time I had come up to Paul Walker and thought who is this White boy? I was like he does not look like the import kind of guy. Saw VIn Diesel he looked pretty cool bad ass to me anyway. But I had no idea that this would be the beginning of all the Fast and the Furious showcase.

Paul wasnt a producer so this statement is false, he was just an actor

@@PARIZEN rumor has it he would clash with vin during filming of fast 4 because of the dramatic direction he was taking it, i feel like if paul was alive the stunts in these movies would not be as over the top as they are,

@@timkruse9912 a few minutes into fast 4 and you can tell they went overboard with special effects. I didn't even watch the rest of it, or any films after that. They got ruined by the franchise having too much fucking money. So much money they didn't know what to do with it but blow it on outrageous effects.

What a sad loss, he gave a cool vibe as an actor but also as a guy who was truly a good human being gone way too soon he has left his mark, like James Dean or Steve McQueen!
