ET looks back at Paul Walker's shocking death in 2013, and how his fiery car wreck changed the fate of the 'Fast and Furious' saga. At the crash site, an emotional Vin Diesel addressed the crowd of mourning fans, who created makeshift memorials around the spot where his longtime co-star died at 40 years old. Two days earlier, Paul was supporting his charity’s event in Valencia, California, when he took a ride with friend Roger Rodas in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. After a few minutes, the car violently spun out before smashing into a tree, igniting the Porsche into a fireball that made it impossible to identify their bodies at the scene. Paul is right, it gets real fricken sketchy, there are those, with an incredible talent for handling cars. But you must expect the unexpectable. When things go bad, it does indeed go bad real fast. The Fast and Furious franchise I love dearly, but to those that risk their lives for that kind of hollywood talent. Please... Be careful, don't forget the difference between reality and movie. Those that strive for race competition or stunt driving. You have the experience, you already have heard this a million times. But those to first starting in racing or drifting. Pace yourself so you can learn more. And utmost, do not attempt this level of high-risk driving skill with those around you or in your passenger seat. Rodger made a fatal mistake that not only cost him, but Paul Walker's life. If you are on your own, your choices are your own making. It became a tragedy that affected many of us. Ultimately, my point is, know the risks you're taking. Do not take the chance of killing your passenger, your friend, in a car accident. I know many drive fast due to their own life struggles. But to put it shortly. If you are going to weigh your life starting with your struggles. Make that second thought that could save your life, and slow down, take a moment and weigh just exactly the risks are. And those that risk their own lives with a passenger. No, stop that damn car... It's not about you anymore, think about your own passenger. Do they want to die because of the risks you want to take...? So to relay that message, which Paul already warned about, be careful of what you demand in a car. The outcome variates way too much and when you are pushing the machine to limits, you better be damn well prepared how to handle that because indeed. "it goes bad real fast".

I was in middle school at the time, my history teacher put on cnn student news before we got the day started and the first headline was paul walkers death. I couldnt even process it, kept denying it and just psyching myself out. Then i went home and saw the footage. Paul was the first and one of the only celebrities i really did cry for when he was gone. It still hurts me too. I grew up with those movies as a kid. They were everything to me
