I was very sensual when I was lost. But after I got saved, I stopped that automatically without even thinking about it. I don't have time for that anymore. My mind is rejoicing in God 24/7. I need Him like the air I breathe.

I was always a career woman until a few years ago. Now I take care of my family, and it's a good thing, too. During Hurricane Sandy, we had no electric for 2 weeks. My neighbor called JCP&L 17 times in one day. Her family just suffered (There were no Pizza rolls or Tyson nuggets to cook)My husband was very proud. We had homecooked meals, candles, clothes washed by hand. My family was clean, warm, wellfed.My point is with both people focused on the money, no one focuses on the important things.

As women pursuing men ,look what the Bible says in Proverbs 7 : "She is loud and defiant ,her feet never stay at home (..) She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said :(..) Come let's drink deep of love till morning " Aren't women encouraged to do this in today's society ? And what is the result of women leading men ?: "Her house is a highway to the grave". Feminism and 'woman power' is DEATH.

What I love about this, is that it is so very true.How many pastors will speak on this? In the book of Proverbs,it states that "Wisdom" is of the female gender. Man without wisdom is self-destructive. This also speaks of men getting very much in touch with the feminen nature of God within themselves in which shows mans sense of sensitivity and compassion. Men for centuries have been taught to deny this part of themselves. Not gay, but a "Gentleman." A man whom is a gentle soul. Humble and wise.

I can see the utilitarian value of the pre-modern hierarchy you talk about, it was a large part of why the human species was able to evolve and not go extinct. Though these strategies were useful survival techniques for our biblical goat herders, it does not also follow that these strategies are suitable for an advanced civilization like ours. A modern woman can provide for herself and determine her own path free of male intervention.

Honestly, I'm attracted to Christian guys for their personality and Godly character, but most of them never even ask me the time of day. I typically dress modestly in a nice blouse and professional work/black slacks as that's what I've always been most comfortable in. I don't feel like I can be modest, nor be myself in a dress and stockings, and it's crazy uncomfortable as I've always been sensory sensitive to touch/itchy tags, etc. I've always had the autistic tendency of just not making eye contact, and I've always considered that humility and godly beauty. But I'm trying to be more socially acceptable/bolder in my approach.

Guys are dumb when it comes to knowing if girls want to be approached... you don’t have to be social per se to attract a Christian male but there are subtle things that can be done to show you’re interested in a male. (Eye contact with a smile, laughing at their jokes, etc)
@servantmichael25146 жыл бұрын
True christians men will not be with a woman who wears slacks unless if he became close to you and told you about it being *abominable on a woman.* Pants are not modest and are made for the men, not women. Let us be awake to this femisnist society's deceptions.

Sister, I dedicated myself to our FATHER and asked HIM to bring me a Godly woman. GOD has to be the highest priority in your life, then HE will bless you according to HIS plans. If you are attracted to a "real" Christian man, you can ask him how he has been blessed since Christ Jesus renewed him. Encourage each other in Christ. It will be good practice until GOD brings you the right man.

I half way agree with him. Agree: yes the modern world tells girls to like those Sex and the City type women. Also yes many feminist tell girls to hate men, and view them as enemies, sad. Yes this needs to be instead about virtue, self control, being humble, and not being materialistic or lustful. Disagree: "Men must initiate." "Men always do in the Bible" Right there Paul is pulling the cultural norms of the Bible. Why make about who "initiated"? instead about the who binds the 2 Jesus :)

and dear sisters who have commented on this so far... Arguing over all this will only lead to destruction and confusion, defeating the point of the message. When it comes to Ruth/pursuing a man/etc., the point is, as a rule, the man should be the pursuer, and the woman should be the responder--virtuous and holy, following the Lord, until the man sees her and initiates. May we seek first HIS kingdom and HIS righteousness, and "all these things will be added" to us as well.
@ChingfordSpur15 жыл бұрын
Agree with his message but I can't agree that women are ALWAYS considered immoral to pursue men in the Bible. Would it not be considered a pursuit of Boaz when Ruth snuggled up to him in a barn when he had had a bit too much to drink? Or is what she did not the same kind of a pursuit as he means?
