May God provide you an opportunity to do the same! Keep your faith and continue to walk in the Lord! I have no Catholic friends where I live either. @Catholics: Jesus is the Only Way Jesus didn't come down through himself, he chose to come down through Mary, what do you think huh? Did he need a poor girl to save the world? If you say he didn't, does God do things for doing seek? If you say he needed to use her and he no more needs her, does God use people and dump them? If he needed her indeed, them we must accord great respect to the one lady who from genesis was foretold about, we give God thanks for seeing a human fit to bear His son, and we honour her for letting herself be a worthy vessel, the new eve, the new ark

I've been a practicing Catholic for almost 1.5 years, I prayed the rosary daily for the first couple of months, but for some reason I feel like what helps me connect the most and feel God the closest is turning every sngle light off in my bedroom, light a candle, listen to gregorian chants (specially Crux fidelis) and just stare at the cross in my wall, open my heart to Him, and to listen. I've asked Him many questions, but didn't hear the answer, allowing Him to speak to me in the quiet of my bedroom... that's the best feeling in the world

The young woman in this video seems like a positive person. I think most positive persons are generally happy. I'm happy and positive most of the time, unless I visit a content creators channel that uses deceit to win subscribers over. I suppose the devil uses those content creators to his advantage and the weak are drawn into their evil. The devil is powerful and will own the mind if you let him. Ascension isn't one of those channels to avoid.

+@Catholics: Jesus is the Only Way Ok, so, I'm a Roman Catholic as well and I would like to respectfully disagree with this statement. The Catholic Church doesn't actually discourage the use of sacramentals (rosaries, statues, etc.) In fact, if that's how you prefer to pray there's nothing wrong with that. You should never worship these images but they should always point to God. Fun fact, the alter is also a sacramental and where would Catholics be without the Mass! Anyway, I hope this helped and again, I mean no disrespect. God bless!

Keep trying to pray it every day. It does get easier to pray as time goes on. I know because I have trouble with it also but I pray it every day. Also, if you have images of the decades to meditate on it helps A LOT. Padre Pio said the Rosary is THE weapon. Also the Blessed virgin Mary let us know at Fatima that she wanted us all to pray it. If we had more Catholics praying it we would be better off. If you look up the 15 promises of the Rosary you will almost WANT to pray it

Now every Friday I go for holy hour in our church. But my husband doesn't follow me. And then I attended the Catholicism programme by Bishop Robert Barron. That was the best decision I made. I tried encouraging him to attend with me. But he refused since there was sharing after each session. He attends mass 3 times during the week but is not open in serving the church. He's not open to confession too many times other than twice a year. I try to encourage him and my kids by going myself every other week

Make a video on virtue ethics, Father Mike could help too. I’ve started studying myself and it is awesome - taking me to new levels in my “sanctity” ( because that is the true goal (and I’m not there - not bragging)). Jesus said my war is of principalities. The supernatural virtues are faith, hope, and love. The cardinal virtues are temperance, prudence, justice, and fortitude - all other virtues come from those. Bad principalities: pride, anger, lust, envy, gluttony, averice, and sloth. And the sins that come from those are described as “the daughters” of each one of those. Know, after virtue and vice basics, you can get into ethics that are most important to your lives as women. And you can get specific to women’s different lives, responsibilities, and trials. So pretty much what you do in every video I guess hahah. I just wanted to share. Virtue ethics is major, and it really hasn’t been taught too much in the last century. And these are considered eternal fruits, as valuable and un-perishable to God ( go to Thomas for better summary on this off course) Thank you Jackie, I’m going to go back and watch Matt’s video.

I’m glad you found it useful, Lauren. I’m going to start with Dr. Taylor Marshall’s free book, “Thomas Aquinas in 50 pages” and then on to Nicomachean ethics which is a real old book that is the genesis to a lot of writings on ethics. For sure teach your kids logic and reasoning, and virtue ethics - I am 20 and did not receive really anything useful in public school and have learned more online than I have in the entirety of my previous education. I don’t know specific courses for kids, but I know there is a lot of good courses out there. I’ll say a prayer for you - Logos is rising

Just to point out- meekness, lowliness and forbearance does not mean you should tolerate violence, abuse, broken bones, threats to your own or your children's safety. Marriage vows are binding even if the marriage is unhappy, which most are eventually. We say for better or for worse, and worse is pretty much the norm. So, nobody ever promised you're going to be happy in marriage or that your husband will treat you well. But the "for worse" is not supposed to include getting crippled or killed by your spouse, or having your children grow up terrified.

Just one word about "mortal sin" (which I think is a big thing in the Catholic church? I am not Catholic but from what I heard it seems to be) - whatever it is, I don't want to know. I just want to tell you, that I struggled a lot about bible verses like that, and I thought: "Maybe God won't forgive me." But no, the bible would be a lie, if God won't forgive be ANYTHING I ask him for. God promised to forgive us any sin when we ask for it. So (my pastor explained me) this MUST BE to clue: If we commit an unforgivable sin, we would (for what ever reason) not come to God. Because IF we come, he MUST forgive us. Thank God, he isn't a liar ♡♡♡

@Austin BrownThe Father is not the Son, nor the Son the Father, nor the Holy Ghost either again. God, or the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one. Not one person, but one as in, "they shall be one flesh." Not that they aren't really two fleshes, but that they are to be considered one. Except the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost are and always have been one. Not the same person, but the same God. Scripture doesn't say the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are 'expressions' of the same person. It clearly, and constantly distinguishes between them. If you are going to ignore that and claim the distinction isn't relevant, or pretend, then why are you pretending you care what Scripture says? Avoid the temptation to follow private interpretation of Scripture, over and against the faith once delivered to the saints. We don't need any more new 'original' interpretations. We just need the original, constant, perennial, and universal faith. not a new one. not a new interpretation. Not a new god.
@thomasb.25065 жыл бұрын
@@AveChristusRex well, there is just one God, so we can't have "a new God". We just need to find the truth. Whether the truth is what Christians believe since 2000 years or a few hundred years, or it's completely "new" (for us new, obviously not for God) The church is not perfect. If the church is wrong, we should not stick to that, just because they did it for hundreds of years, but rather stand up to he truth, even if every single pastor / pope / Father is against it. Hey it's an amazing video. But I've been struggling with selfdoubt and self hatred for a really long time.. And when i read these verses it convicts it even more of what I'm not or what i should be. And this makes me feeling so bad, it makes me hate myself even more and makes me to compare to other christian woman and (also to the one describe in binle) with wonder how can they be so amazing and godly and JUST PERFECT.. does that even exist? I hate myself for not being that good enough 😭😭😭😭😭

Sometimes I hate myself too. I think it is important to remember that even when you hate yourself, God doesn't hate you. Try to remember that God is continuously working in us.

Living a virtuous life isn’t easy. Because there’s a lot of temptations and sin to ruin anything that we hold so dear.

May I ask what bible translation Jackie is reading? I am not a native English speaker, and sometimes I find english translation is so much easier to understand. Thanks

The analogy of refiners fire is actually from the Bible not Brooks Fraser, well she might’ve been quoting the Bible. Zachariah 13: 9 also Job 23: 10

Pray without ceasing, I love it how with every meal that we eat, even eating ice cream or a candy bar, or a couple of beers that we can offer of all these things for the sake of of someone else. Instead of just me enjoying what God has given me now it is taking on a whole new level for the sake of someone else!!

Please find time to reply . I'm really struggling to understand this whole situation. My prayer life has become deeper and I have started getting up early to spend time in prayer so that my daily routine us not interrupted

she doesn't reply. I've seen very heart felt messages asking for help. She leaves them in total silence.

I love you heart. Know that you can go boldly to the throne of grace and confess to God . No need to confess to a priest. Knock out the middle man sweetie. God is God all by Himself. Love and Blessings to you.

Is praying to the saints something jesus says to do though? He said only to pray by and though him.
@jhaelinbautista85513 жыл бұрын
It can seem like we pray to the saints, but we are actually asking them to pray for us. The logic behind this it that these people were able to get to Heaven, so why not ask them to pray for us so that we will be able to too? We’re asking them to help and pray for us, but we aren’t praying to them as if they’re God. In any human relationship we have, we grow closer to someone by befriending their family and friends so that we may know that person more and see how they came to be who they are. The same is true for Jesus :) By knowing His mother and friends, the saints, and asking them to pray for us, we are able to grow closer to Him.

This is so true,... The world traditions and style are anti Christian and antiCatholic ... Only true lover of Jesus can remain a Christian.

If women did not possess an infinite capacity for disassociation, the effectiveness of her manipulations would be greatly lessened. if a Woman cannot sell herself a false narrative , she cannot manipulate men into holding her in higher regard. if women got what they deserved rather than what they wanted they could not disassociate. With disassociation she can avoid the consequences for this taking her to the same issue as innocent and chastity. Proverbs 31:10 who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that she shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. This verse is like finding the magical unicorn. She doesn't exist. However when a society follows the cultural advice laid out by ancient wisdom in which the recklessness of women are constrained, women begin to behave with a godly reverence. God created women to be a completer not a competitor.
