@@TLF1 I can comment and I will! I know he's Irish. I was laughing because there's footage of him over the years saying that he's English because he was born here. Now all of a sudden, he says he's Irish, and you're claiming him. I don't care. But I do think he's now saying it because it sounds cooler, and he's Boni's mate. There's no ill intentions meant though. I love Ireland, its a beautiful place. And I love Irish history, especially the ancient history. I also think Ireland's going to be where the new revolution starts, and I'm with you on that too.

Why do we need Paul Weller when we have Iggy Pop? He can't reach Iggy.
@outofthesinking3 ай бұрын
Iggy is good, but your statement is wrong. Paul Weller is still a master songwriter, performer and beloved artist. To continue to put out new music at 66 years old, to still love what he does, to champion up and coming new bands, to have that fire to create is amazing. The chart success he's had, continues to have, speaks for itself.
@child-in-time-j9g3 ай бұрын
@@outofthesinking I just found out about Paul Weller three days ago. And I didn't find anything interesting in his music. Leo Sayer stamped songs like that. In our youth, we despised Leo Sayer.

Fair enough, go back through his career, you might change your mind. Paul is such a prolific songwriter. I suppose if he doesn't float your boat, there's not much I can say to convince you :)

On the question of favorite tracks- So today I was on the FL freeway taking my life into my hands and this track has been held back a day because “FROGS” hit, and it was the best coincidental mashup moment ever with freeway music because the tire cover on the jeep in front of me was “She’s all sunshine with a little mix of hurricane”, -go figure. It’s the rocker and that’s a favorite (66 has stealth rockers 2) It was perfect!!! Love you. I turned a 70’s lady client onto you today, -now a fan. Gots the range that’s timeless.
