Paul was always the voice of my cynical self, and for that, I thank him, and feel the pain.

This man moves me with his music, words and the way he puts himself out there, he lets us in, good, bad and ugly. I think that's what I appreciate the most. Not much phoniness that I can see. I only got to see him once, that final Replacements show July 4th in Chicago in 1991. I was a young man at the time and was there for the party. Life has taken its toll since then and on those real bad days, thoughts sometimes go to a dark place-

I know Westerberg has never exactly been known for his great singing voice, but he was on fire that night. He sounds excellent here.

He has a great singing voice full of intelligence and heart of his sleeve emotions Like Neil Young. Not like Bette Midler and a thousand other shallow uninteresting voices that fools like. That said, this song is just OK, Paul has done much better.

really? for me the true paul greats hit me first time and i just cant stop listening. kids dont follow was first. i heard that song on youtube, bought the stink ep on the spot. then when i got it i heard you're getting married, nearly cried. Some of his other songs have done the same, such as this one.

really hope this one goes on a compilation album sometime. It sounds much better to me than the original take.
