What is the pipe running from near the turbine to the brake pumps on the left of the boiler? It does not seem to be insulated. I don't recall that from the old days. Didn't all QGR locos have the headlamp on top of the smokebox back in the good olf days? Fine film, 5 stars.

I'm assuming you mean the large copper pipe on both sides of the locomotive which delivers water to the boiler via the clack valves on the top of the boiler.

So the story goes that steam excursions no longer run to Ferny Grove, the last one to run was just before Christmas 2010.
