She’s the reason I became a dancer. I was neither tall, thin, or classically trained. And 17 years after I took my first dance class, I performed at a Lakers game.

Good for you, a short dancer is hard in the business. What we see on TV and in reality super tall girls are not normal, that is extreme body dynamics. I had a huge crush on a girl who who was 6 foot one. I chickened out and never asked her out.

I love her attitude. She was determined to succeed and she most certainly did! She is a fabulous choreographer and a very good dancer. I was that tall, super skinny ballerina who got all the leading roles because of my looks mainly I think. She should be an inspiration to any type of dancer who loves the work. Go for it!

@ MyTalkShowHeroes May the Most High God bless you for showing this interview of Paula Abdul! She is...by far...one of the most underrated performers simply because there are MANY critics who just love that power of hurting anyone and everyone that they can hurt spiritually, mentally, and physically! And one other thing...just because Maria is of the "Kennedy" line does NOT mean that she should've ended the interview (in my strong statement) with the sarcastic tone & remark "A mutt." Paula used the term "mutt" to explain and describe how a LOT of people (who ATTEMPT to figure out her heritage) ignorantly "categorize" her! She's NOT an animal...she's a human being (of the human race/mankind)! If anything, Maria (because of being 'NASTY') should've called her MS. ABDUL...repeatedly and respectfully! Again, may the Most High God bless you for showing this interview! 💯

Definitely one of the hottest and most talented female stars of the 90's! My friends and I back in junior high school had huge crushes on her. Some didn't like her music (many of the guys preferred hard rock) but I LOVED her music! However I do think her actual vocal skills are somewhat questionable, and at times I've even wondered if she even sang on her own records. It's difficult or impossible to find any footage of her actually singing live. When you look at virtually all her TV appearances, concerts, and TV appearances, she's clearly lipsyching to a pre-recorded track. Even in her recent comeback tour, few or none of the vocals were actually live. Makes you wonder if she can even sing at all. Definitely a great dancer and choreographer though.

Meaning there ARE no accidents/coincidence. Paula bought the exact same transferable skills to each endeavor. If she was going to be a cheerleader, damnit - then she was going to BE the World's Best.

I have always liked paula ,shes very pretty ,but ,i notice that a lot of famous people get plastic surgery but, the storys never come out .i have never saw Paula's name and a few others on a list of famous people that have had plastic surgery ,paula abdul had a nose job ,she had a very big nose before she had it fixed ,look at her high school photos ,i heard she had it fixed before she became famous, and Vanessa williams ,also had a nose job ,she was real pretty even though her nose was not perfect, she won miss america ,Vanessa's nose was not as huge as Paula's was , her nose just wasn't perfect ,just watch the interview on KZbin that she did with a white lady jane pauly ,and then watch her music videos she did later ,in 1987-1988 and you will see a big difference in her nose ,lm not the only person that noticed she had a nose job, her nose was perfect after she came out with her album welcome to my comfort zone ,in 1987-1988 ,the interview with jane Pauly was in 1983 ,so she had about4 years when she was out of the lime light , Vanessa's was perfect after she had a nose job ,her nose looked more european ,before it looked ethic because she is black.i saw a plastic surgeon that was on the doctors tv show he has a practice in beverly hills ,he said most of the celebrities and models have had work done ,most were not born perfect ,he said nose jobs are at the top of the list ,then face lifts ,boob jobs, lip injections ,and they even do chin implants, cheek implants ,eye lifts, lypo suction ,and other surgery's ,i know lots of other famous people have had work done but, i was just wondering why their names have never been on a list.the plastic surgeon said most of them get work done and they do not want the public to know about it ,but, we are not stupid ,we can tell the difference in pictures before they were famous ,or just starting out.there is nothing wrong with getting a bad nose fixed ,it will make you perfect and beautiful to have a perfect nose ,but, they should be willing to admit it to the public if they are asked about it.pamela anderson had a nose job ,she did look a lot more beautiful after her nose job ,than before ,she also had lip injections and a boob job, lisa rinna ,had a nose job and lip injections ,kirstie alley had a nose job, janet and Latoya jackson both had nose jobs,Latoyas nose was very big before she had a nose job,Janet's looked ok ,she just wanted a perfect nose ,and lots more famous people have had plastic surgery ,jane fonda got mad at a lady that interviewed her on tv ,for asking how much plastic surgery she has had to look younger at 78 or how ever old she is .they should just admit it because the public can tell and most of them have had work done.
