Beautiful song (also performed by the band Tarnation), but truly strange and depressing video of mentally disturbed people/patients. The man at 2:00 ish appears to be picking his teeth as if picking a guitar. Odd.

The song is beautiful, which eases me into accepting the film, but as what? A documentary that would unsettle us. Quite a contrast. Music always wins, but using this footage makes me feel uneasy.

I'm okay with people's thoughts on the footage. The films are always for me. If others find them interesting in a positive or negative way, that's cool. Thank you for even pondering its relevance. I guess the footage should make us all slightly uneasy. Phil

@@Mystic0157 Bud, who knows. I guess we'll never really know. As previously stated, the video was made for me and if others find something in it, cool. I guess if they like the tune but hate the video, they can just look away. For anyone who doesn't know the album, I would urge them to check it out. It is a thing of beauty, Lo-Fi and wonderful.
