Paula Fredriksen is a historian, a scholar of religious studies and the Aurelio Professor of the Appreciation of Scripture at Boston University. She is one of the world's great scholars of early Christianity and author of "From Jesus to Christ: the Origins of the New Testament Images of Jesus", "Augustine and the Jews", and other important and influential books that explore early Jewish-Christian relations and early Christianity in the Jewish context from which it emerged.
