I love Paula Scher but I disagree and cringe with her last comment. Design has Purpose. Art has no purpose. However that’s the difference between a designer and an artist. Not saying one is higher than the other. But I wish she’d consider the mindsets and principals that go into contemporary art. (It has a purpose)
