I was a teenager when this came out. My parents were alive back then. So were my grandparents. Now they're all gone. How incredible that we don't realize just how special those times we lived in back then were. Little did we know. That they were the most significant times we will ever know. My Mother played this song in her room. It brings back those memories like they were literally yesterday. If only we can go back in time. To relive these moments we had that truly changed our lives forever. We didn't know just how very much we would miss them someday. I Love you mom. Til we meet again in Heaven.

Everyone says it but it feels so true, time flys by so quick. He was my best friend and we would sit on the steps to the auditorium everyday so I wouldn’t be alone, I was the lonely nerdy girl in HS and he was the popular wrestling jock that everyone loved. He asked me out and we went to the winter formal and I moved away after my freshman year. He was my first love and best friend and we kept in touch up until his death a couple of years ago. @Artist - “Literally a movie “ - I’ll say - because It IS a movie - “Rebel Without a Cause “ - James Dean and Natalie Wood !! I knew this back in the 1990’s when the song was first out !! Watch it and you will see what I mean . The scenes in the video bwere EXACTLY what they had in the movie. A drag race, a knife fight, hiding out in the mansion !! It is from October 1955 . James Dean was killed on September 30 1955. So 66 years in 2021. He was only 24 years old . He was only in 3 movies in his whole career - “Rebel Without a Cause “, “East of Eden “and “Giant” “ (Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson)
