@@jonathanx8528 I think that for today's kids, today's tunes will have a similar effect, but whatever decade you grew up, I think that whatever music played during your teenage days will always be special. I used to think that any modern music post 2000 was a bit lame, but every now and then, there's still a good one that is super catchy. My teenage days were firmly in the 80s, but I also think that not all songs back then were great.

I'll never forget the shock of seeing Janet Jackson lose Best Female Artist (or whatever) to Katie Lang. MTV loved that "If" video while Lang wasn't even in their program rotation, haha. A piece of pop trivia. When the man is dancing in the trench coat with the Cain, while in his flip his hat falls off. That was unintentional and the dancer naturally did the splits to recover the hat. They left it in the video.

She was from an era of professional dancers/choreographers who became pop stars, first was toni basil, then Madonna(who Paula worked with), then Paula herself and finally Jennifer Lopez. All used their dancing to break into the music scene, well J-lo needed a movie to get it going.

Haven’t heard this for so long, I had totally forgotten about it. Then it pops up on my music app and bam!! I’m back in time, and dancing my ass off on the balcony. And I’ll be 72 in a week. I’ve played it at least 15 times since then, and I mean just this afternoon. My neighbors even came over to check out, as they say “why are you dancing so hard, Phil”. Absolutely love this tune!!
