Do y'all agree that smaller shrimp tend to take longer to cook?

Paula, I've had your pic on my fridge ever since your first show. No matter where I've moved its always went with me, even when I was homeless and didnt a fridge to put it on I made sure it didnt get messed up. I got them out of a magazine.... Lol. I've had 2 sets of your BUTTER cookware, I had my first set for 11yrs b4 I had to replace the stock pot but I'm still using the rest of the set. When I replaced the stockpot I just bought a whole nother set off Amazon. I had to retire after 25yrs as a cook due to a disability. I became a big fan on the first episode of your first show when I realized we cook exactly the same way. I've been cooking since I was 5yrs old (55yrs) with my granny. First thing I can remember her having me do was stand on a stool and watch the fried chicken so it didn't burn. Lol. She would tell me when it was time to flip it. It was my job to crumble the biscuits and cornbread for dressing. I feel i love watching you cook cause it brings back the memories of cooking with granny, she's been gone 20yrs and I've been lonely ever since. Its been a fantasy of mine for the last 20yrs to cook with you but now that I'm disabled that fantasy has faded. I'm sitting here tonight trying to find content for my FB recipe page and I stumble across one of your recipes on YT, I'm like "OH LORD, HALLELUJAH!!!" I didn't know you had a YT channel. I've taught myself some of ten different cuisines and I'm learning how to make Thai food presently. Its been slow going during the pandemic cause I have to have my food delivered cause I can't go to the store and we all know it's been hard to get a lot of ingredients. But I'm still trying and taking what I can get from the store. Hope you and the family are doing well. Love and best dishes, your fan of 20yrs!!!

I've never noticed. I tend to only but large shrimp because I hate cleaning them so bigger shrimp/ fewer to clean

I think they have to cook as long as others. But you should be ashamed of using that pre-packaged stuff!!! You know it's not as good as fresh and yet you still use it!!!

Honestly, I'm definately fixing this one tonight. I love the dry Adobe rub, it's great when I make beans and rice. My son's college friend from Costa Rica taught us years ago about the Adobe dry seasong, 1994 to be exact, delicious. Paula your slaw recipe sounds delicious. MMMmmm BTW, farm raised shrimp seem to stay translucent for longer than the wild caught. Wild caught cook up faster. Farm raised takes longer, I found this to be true when I make may shrimp poor boys. Love seeing you, Theresa, and hearing Eddie, the three Amigo's. Theresa or Teresa?

I like shrimp tacos, but I have only had them on the traditional crispy taco shell. This does look good and I wouldn't be mad about using tortilla shells. The lime in the coleslaw goes very well with the shrimp.

Good morning Paula you should not call this Tacos but Burritos as for Tacos are made with Corn Tortillas and the size of the Corn Tortillas "small" and when one uses Flour Tortillas this is considered a Burrito 🌯 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

I've had tacos in Mexican restaurants where the flour tortilla is fried. Even Taco Bell has soft taco on their menu that's served in a flour tortilla.
