i used to work in a restaurant that sold a version of the bloomin onion.. for the sauce we mixed 1 part cocktail sauce and 1 part mayo. cocktail sauce is just ketchup and horseradish mixed together.

I’ve decided to post a review after reading some negative ones kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB I followed the cleaning instructions prior to using and preheated as well to ensure that we didn’t get the “plastic” smell or taste some have mentioned in other comments. I cleaned the basket with vinegar and water and the dish soap, and preheated it 3x to be sure. Honestly, the cooking time took about 30 min for larger wings and it’s a good idea to turn the meat half way through to cook evenly. The meat taste delicious 😋 Also, there is no mess on the counter from the vapor released during cooking time.

I love that you used your air fryer instead of the deep fryer. Most of us don't have a deep fryer. But a lot of people are buying air fryers. I don't have one yet, but I'm going to get me one. *Paula* I have an air fryer almost like yours. The plate comes out of the basket. I found that the plate sits to close to the bottom of the basket so I made 4 thick rings out of aluminum that is about 1 inch tall. about the size of a half dollar. I put the rings in each corner and then rest the plate on those.. By doing that it allows more space for the air to get under and around what you are cooking. Trust me you will thank me for this tip after you cook doing that. I did a rib eye steak the other day in my air fryer PowerXL and it was amazing . . .

Love this ! It’s beautiful! I have an air fryer. My husband is diabetic so cannot use white flour of any kind. But breadcrumbs- I get the keto white -toast it- oven dry it-and then blended or food process in the crumbs. It is so useful in other recipes

I love your big air fryer! Here is a way to clean your air fryer! quick and easy, non toxic. The cleanser is called Bartenders Friend. I buy, from Lowe’s or Home Depot. wet air fryer then sprinkle cleanser on it and starting rubbing and quick as a wink the grease comes off without hardly any scrubbing at all. I use it all over my home. Amazing product.

Olive oil, coarse salt, garlic, maybe a little rosemary. Cut each in half. Roast at 325 for 25 minutes. Squeeze lemon juice at very end.

I am so happy to see this recipe. My Mother and I shared a love of onion rings, she is gone now as are fresh onion rings prepared in most restaurants (except for Outback, etc). Last summer I attempted this in oil in my kitchen and tasty! My house stunk for days! Can't hack that!
