I started watching your channel for the cruise content as my wife have been cruising since 2008 Utube decided to send this link. I don’t know why But. When asked if I could go back back in time and go anywhere. I answer “Brownsea Island” the site of Baden Powell’s first experimental camp in 1907. Before I started cruising I had been to Mexico, New Zealand, Australia and South Korea with the Scouts I am an Eagle Scout, former Scoutmaster and have been registered with the Scouts for over 60 years Thank you for spotlighting this part of England ( a bucket list place I want to visit)😅

Very good Carol, I would love to see Poole. I am an ex pat from the Isle of Wight, now in Vancouver, BC. Renting those little lodges look cute, except I spotted no windows on the sides.

Poole was great, and the campsite was ideal for exploring with the bus stop right outside! When was the last time you were in the UK?

Paul and Carole Love to Travel Hi, we were last back in 2015, saw relatives on the island, and mainland. Then had 2 nights in a Southampton hotel, I think a Mercure, which was good, near a mall, so we got groceries to eat for lunch and dinner. Then on the Caribbean Princess from Southampton to New York, stopped in Bergen, Lerwick, 3 places in Iceland, St. John’s Newfoundland (cancelled due to high winds) Halifax NS, NYC. Then we took the train to Providence RI, rented a car and drove to beautiful Cape Cod Mass. had a week in one of our time shares. Flew home from Providence. We had a day in Nantucket, so lovely. Last time we were there we went to the other island off Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard. Plan on going May 2021, have a sis in Cheltenham, another in Ascot.
