Look at the parabolic moves from the last bull market. There will be pull backs, but charts can be over extended for months in a row. Oct. 2020 - April 2021, there were rarely more than 2 red daily candles in a row. There were a handful of 3 or 4 in a row, but only a handful. Not saying a big pull back isn't possible, but it's dangerous to expect a massive drop if you're expecting to buy at those prices.

If there is no Capital Gains tax on US Crypto, would it just apply to individuals? It does seem like Whales could heavily manipulate the market and the way charts are looking? (ie throw in lots of money to make people FOMO in, then dump hard?) if there is no tax, what is to stop you from withdrawing a huge chunk of your holdings overnight, and buying back in the next day if the charts are looking good? (you might lose 2% in exchange fees, but you only have to buy back in when the conditions are good anyway) I know if I didn't have Capital gains hitting I would be pretty tempted to try to sell before a correction, and then buy back once it looks like the full-scale bull run is ready to kick in 🔥
