5 Days on Koh Samet Island, Thailand - The Barton Family

With the easing of Covid travel restrictions in Thailand, we took our first family break away from home for 1 and a half years. During this time Khwan lovingly nursed her father suffering with dementia and Alzheimer's by herself at home, until he passed away this January, aged 92. Emilie loved her grandfather, worked so well at home during lockdown and recently passed her homeschool exams. She told us her dream was to spend some time by the sea, so, last week, we made it happen. Making this video was part of Emilie's homeschool audio and video editing activities, which she really enjoys, and Emilie made the diary-narration by herself.
