Yes we noticed the plates, Paul is from Alberta where this was shot. Alberta does in fact have a Sheriff highway patrol unit from the Solicitor General. Most highways in Alberta are mostly patrolled by the RCMP however if you look at the police crest on the side of the car it is the Alberta Sheriffs Highway patrol crest.

Town I grew up in had red police cars at one time. The NYSP had Mustangs and Camaros at one time, the CHP had Mustangs at one time too. The Shelby wouldn't surprise me in the least either.

Must admit I searched hard a while back when I painted a few lines outside my house on my land in order to to figure where it would run well. Next thing I knew I had PC plod knocking on my door and being a nice guy I invited then in to discuss when it seemed evident I had every right to plan out my front drive and that some crazy head seemed to think that PC plod had a finger in the pie for some reason, so I just ran with it and popped on some vibes when is seemed they had no cause to caution or arrest . . This was always a bit of a favourite but it did take a while to sink in that I was taking the piss and that they had no just reason to be in my space.
