You may want to get stronger mesh wire with smaller holes. Rats can squeeze through chicken wire and almost any other predator can get through chicken wire. Just thought I would let you know

​@@mikk7411It is true. People loose a ton of chickens in "predator proof" chicken coops, as well as eggs, every year. I use small hole fencing with chicken wire then bury it about a foot in the ground.

Paul, I'm not sure how you found Hector but he's been a God send for you! The man is great at building and not so bad to look at lol.. for real tho he's been a super blessing. Poor Brenton.. he really does need to get moved to Florida. If you're wanting enough light to get in to the turtles I'm not so sure I'd put those plants all way around.. maybe some low ones or even some hanging baskets would be really cool!! Yes!! Just a tip for future reference before putting the mesh up if you roll it out and spray paint it black it gives it a much cleaner look as it reflects less light and blends in with the surroundings a lot better. Just for visuals but it's also better for filming as the camera doesn't focus so much on it.

This looks amazing! Tip (as a tortoise owner) PLEASE make sure to get heat and uvb bulbs for each tortoise/turtle enclosure. They need those to grow and be healthy, otherwise they can have serious health issues (URI's, metabolic bone disease, etc.) Also reptile calcium and multivitamins. Please use this for all of ur reptiles, including your panther chameleon! Super excited to see this project come along!!!!

You will need much smaller holed mesh to stop the rats, you'd be surprised at what they can squeeze through. Good tip. If they can fit their head through, they can squeeze their whole body through!
