I thought about that too! But doesn't the "Where's My Axe" card specifically say "search the deck"? I would think the discard pile wouldn't be included. Unless there's more than one axe in the deck.

@@danieledwards3310 Well he was running with a full hand needing to discard cards, he also needed to sort out the bandits without suffering the wounds. And with the where’s my axe he could grab another from the deck. I didn’t know if that was the only axe, leaning on intuition. If he had 2 “where is my axe” cards and had an axe in his hand.
