How this has so few views I'll never understand. I return to this regularly. That "drop" crescendo or whatever after the capo change. The solo from Paul. The harmonies. The audio fidelity from that 1 receiver. Absolutely incredible. I listen to this on the hifi and the detail and accuracy of your playing, singing and recording is genuinely unbelievable. Absolutely nailed it.

The capo change has been done during Paul performing barree fingerings and was hidden therefore . He was actually using it some bars later.

As a life-long RHCP fan and Frusciante nut, this was so amazing. I am preparing my whole body and mind for the fact that I am going to see RHCP tomorrow live!!!. This is the exact way covers should be done. And Mary is a freaking MONSTER singer, especially the bridge(no pun intended), and the last chorus was so powerful. Keep on rocking guys.

I'm blown away by the sound quality from this remote recording. There must have been some post treatment, but the sound stage and clarity, not to mention the birds for accompaniment are right on. I don't think I've ever seen Mary in a dress.

This worked on a level I didn't expect when I clicked on the video. So much greater than the sum of its parts, I actually got goose-bumps. The connection to the original song and lyrics was so strong and the arrangement and performance created a very different pathway to the same core emotion of the original.

sometimes I have those moment with music where i kinda freeze, my breathing gets kind of weird and i just stare into the abyss because the sound, the art itself stuns me so much and everything gets irrelevant except my emotions hearing what I hear. They probably recorded each part separately and then did a take with the mic you see on the screen and mixed them. I don’t think it is just one recording.

@@spacebunsarah the mics on that portable zoom are fantastic. They have included effects such as noise suppressors. And also they have some of the best preamps for the price. It’s totally doable that they did it all with a single take with those mics
