I would urge anyone who's struggling with this to persevere, as it sounds and looks a whole lot more complicated than it is, and is so so much fun to play. If you can play it slow, you can play it fast! I've been following the other channel for years, and will be following this one, as I mainly play acoustic fingerstyle. If you read this Paul, thank you so much for all of the truly amazing teaching work over the years. I would recommend the intermediate course for those wanting to take things to the next level too. It was a fantastic way to spend the first UK lockdown, was worth every penny, and has given me a skill for life. Great beard as always too!

@@EmJayPee Great! So glad this comment helped. Apply the motivation you had to learn this to other songs and techniques you previously thought outside of your comfort zone. You'll be amazed at how quickly things start coming together. Patience, perseverance, and practice. Then practice some more!

not to slow, not to fast. Well organized and original chords. Thank you I love this tutorial. Paul Davis has excellent teaching skills. He puts the notes and he puts the tab and he shows you how to play it. That way you don’t get confused and you don’t see Jess fingers and knuckles going all over the fingerboard mini teachers on KZbin teach this method You can’t tell what they’re doing close up or not you can’t tell. No wonder beginners get confused Paul Davis you’re a beautiful teacher. Thanks for your video. I love it that’s the way you teach music the way you teach it.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🎸🎼🎶👍🏼💖😎

Best guitar teacher around. I've been playing 17 years. I'll admit I'm a good guitarist, I fucking should be after all this time, but, I've been lazy in my time. You have reminded why I have an unquenchable love for guitar. I'm playing more than ever. Keep being a legend. 💜

When I learned this (50 years ago! Watching Bert Jansch) I knew I could just about play the guitar good enough for someone listening to maybe enjoy it. I haven’t improved massively since then. But, hey ! I can always play some blues.

Thanks, really. You have no idea how much horrible stuff i have going on and how hard i work, guitar is my escape from all that. Youve gave me something to work on for a few minutes before i got to go back to the real world. I knew the chords strumming with the chromatic walking, but now i can busy my mind with learning your finger style version instead of thinking about all my problems.

I know the bloke was being a bit facetious but I can see where he was coming from.
