See stitch although I know it's imp to know the major scales that don't have that airy sad ..scary ..violent sound of the minor and yes I said it ..the minor scale has all them quality's where the major scale is never played in heavy metal because it's too happy sounding ..love you videos but this is where I know it's imp but I get bored fast cause the major is just too happy sounding lol ...I love watching videos of what if ....what a song like stairway was played in major ...it just would not sound good ..the am chord at the start sets it all up to have that incredible vibe too it ..my mom when I used practice it used to day you keep playing some real sad song lol ...it not supposed be sad per day but I think you get my drift ...ty stitch your awesome

So I worked on this last night. Found a backing track and ended up jamming on it at least an hour,LOL. I would have played the C major pentatonic the whole way and it works but taking note to hitting those notes on the A and great Eb on the F# dim. And the double stops was like a cherry on top of an ice cream cone. Again thank so much for you for all you know and your kindness for sharing it. First class my friend!! Thank you kindly !!

I get so much out of your lessons, I can hardly believe my progress, lol. It's been constant upward growth every day, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot, so thank you VERY much! I noticed you are playing mostly down-picking while playing, and blues requires that technique of course, but would you recommend alternate-picking while soloing as a general rule of thumb, or just with certain types of music? I focused on alternate-picking so much early on in my playing I have a hard time turning it off, especially when it's not called for in the moment. Thanks again!

After 30 years I don’t expect I can learn all that beautiful fretwork style but it’s such a great blues song to just stumble though the chords. Someone else can take the credit for the fancy stuff. I’ll just keep the beat honest with a typical Maori ringa chicka blues. Great teacher tho. Doesn’t bullshit and waste time with stories about himself. 10/10.
