Boss Tone Studio Tutorial - Editing Tone Settings (Katana MkII)

I own the Katana since 2019. Not my main amp. Just for rehearsal. I'm actually a plug and play guy who loves pedals a lot. I just plugged it to my computer yesterday, installed Tone Studio. The driver. Updated my amp. Damn, that took me a lot of time. Now I'm gonna watch one hundred videos and I hope I will learn enough to appreciate Tone Studio. Thanks for your useful vids. They will save me a lot of time for sure !

Hi Paul. Thank you for tutorial. One question: can you tweak the AMP TYPE parameters? Like changing the sound of these 5 amp tones (acoustic, clean, crunch, lead and brown)?

I have not read or seen a video that describes how to disconnect from Tone Studio. Do we just remove the USB cable and play? Do we power off the amp first?

Thanks a lot. Your vidro serirs helps alot. I have the mk2 katana for a while now but I find the interface really discouraging, especially compared to much cheaper multifx-pedals. The user interfaces of for example the NUX mg30 looks exceptional compared to the tonestudio.

Great Video Haven't tried anything yet in tone studio. So you basically creating a custom channel. Question if I created a brown channel with 100 gain in studio. What happens when i turn the gain nob on my amp? Do I get more or less does it work in conjunction with the studio tone?

No you would just set to that gain level.

Excellent video! Can you edit and save tones from patches that are in your library or do they have to be assigned to a channel? Also, can you edit and save from the panel? Thank you!

get Ableton live then connect it to computer with printer cable and get asio 4 all driver... then you got live monitoring

One thing I am getting frustrated with is that I cannot seem to be able to save different settings in the tone studio for each of my three booster types on one single channel. I am currently using overdrive, 60s fuzz, and muff fuzz, and would like to have different bottom levels and tone levels for each of these. But for some reason, every time I change the level for these settings for one boost type, it changes for every boost type in that channel. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just not possible to have different values for each boost type in one channel?

Hello could you help me? I just bought the MKII, but I can't install the driver. I installed an update to the amplifier, following steps on the boss page, but it won't let me install the driver. The computer throws me a message that it is not compatible with the operating system, but I have windows 10, 64bits. I don't know what to do, if you could help me, I would really appreciate it. Nice day.
