Made a few of these for Christmas but found I needed one slightly bigger. So thank you Paul for your easy to follow demos. Once I understood the concept I found it really easy to upsize the bauble to fit the little gift I wanted to put inside. All the best for the coming year.

Wow, what a beast! It may be my fingers are no longer as dexterous as they once were as I had trouble holding the project while putting it together. My first one came out ok and decent looking. I’m sure I’ll get better as I make more. I did create the template which helps tremendously. Thank you for a lovely project!

How did I miss this? I love your projects! This one looks complicated and you've broken it down so well. Looking forward to trying it and adapting to use through the year. Much showier way to give a small gift and re-usable!

Great instructions,i converted mine to cms,and enlarged it by joining 2 pieces of A4 card,the squares measured 5cm by 5 cm,also it is easier to work out where the score lines go😊😊😊 i stuck mirror card onto my squares.

Hi Paul. I made this along with you last night and it was so much fun to put together. Thanks for the tutorial. To speed up the process, I cut 2 strips of the gold and decorative papers, added double-sided tape to the back, and then cut them. Will share photos as soon as I enter your group.

I did it ~ I made it! I put my decoration squares on while it was flat which was easy. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it! 🥰 ❤️ 🫶 Now just deciding how many I want to make! Edited to add: I used velcro to close & I scored on the back for the triangle areas as the valleys then became mountains & they were easier to fold. My suggestion is to make a template (flat) with notes as gluing & scoring whilst flat is easier long term. I also found an inch square die-cut & that streamlined the process. I've made 13 so far! 👌 🥰 ❤️ 🫶

These are a perfect way to give gift cards. they're beautiful, very "High End" looking, yet quite affordable to make. I would love to know where you purchased your scoring board, if you don't mind sharing? Thanks for posting this. You're an awesome instructor.
@paulford6686Ай бұрын
I think it’s the colour way and paper choice that made it high end. The board is many, many MANY years old 😂 It’s the original Martha Stewart one. Think Stamping Up has the closest version these days.
@garygartin2757Ай бұрын
@@paulford6686 I found one at Stampin' Up. They are $37.00 dollars US, plus $7.95 shipping and handling. They are 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches and are scored at 1/8 inch increments vertically. Sorry, but they don't have a metric scale. I hope this helps some viewers out.
