I'm from France, I met afghan guys and Two of them live with my Family since Two years . Now I left my home to see what the World looks like, and i understand that its very hard to be separated from one's homeland and culture. This music makes me cry because it reminds me home and Friends, not Brothers by Blood, but Brothers anyways... I wish Afghanistan will Know peace in future.

I lisened this marvelous performanc so many times, every time it hyptenized me in a new mode, it contains lot of pain & sadeness درد و غم بیشمار دارد but it is enjoyed in the way of grief. We share equal grief with Afghanies o Iranies. In my opinion, RUBAB was the instrument to express grief, however SANTOOR is not less to express نالہا۔ بشنو از نئی چن حکایت میکند وز جدائی ھا شکایت میکند۔

Taliban makes me SICK! They have virtually destroyed my country! I am from Feyzabad Badakhshan. It is the northeast of Afghanistan. Yes I was born there, just to be taken out of the country with my folks to the Netherlands then Switzerland (Bern) and ultimately to California in the States. I still love our music -- especially the santur as I can play this instrument. I like both the origina iranian version and the one from India that has made its way into Afghanistan. I want to go back to my homeland, but thanks to the USA (where I am stuck for now due to this pandemic) what America has done to Afghanistan is simply ABOMBABLE!!! The taliban was formed originally by the USA’s CIA as to 'defend' Afghanistan from the former Soviet Union (CCCP). Now I hsall have to wait in order to go to my birthplace Feyzabad.
