This lineup was ahead of their time. The first 3 albums still hold up today. Very technical. RIP Ted

I miss cornerstone festival so much. Live been going there f 8 years until a female got seriously injured in mosh pit and almost died . Thats the reason it was shut down. I used to help do stage set up as well. I miss all these wonderful musicians 😢❤❤❤❤

This is the only TOURNIQUET version I know. 1990 - 93 is best of all time. KIRKPATRICK seems over consumed with being right.
@renegadeoftruth28912 жыл бұрын
@@derekknight9789 I think he's more obsessed with animal rights activism than preaching the Gospel. I've seen lots of unchristian vitriol against those created in God's image in defense of animals not created in God's image. It almost seems like he wants people to go to hell for enjoying the consumption of meat, which is heresy.
@jikka1781 Жыл бұрын
@@renegadeoftruth2891 i've thinked bout it sometimes,the last tourniquet albuns and the nw band of the rest of members,Flood talks only about the animals,litle or nothing about Christh and the gospel that gives freedom and salvation

Amazing...I saw them with this exact lineup in St. Louis in 1992. Small venue, got to hang out with the whole band before the show. I even interviewed Ted while my friend was recording with his video camera...I'll have to ask him if he still has that tape. I remember Victor being the nicest dude ever...I complimented him on his Eddie tattoo, which he seemed a little regretful about (he said, "Another lifetime..." or something like that). I mentioned to Gary that I thought he looked almost "evil" in the Ark of Suffering video, to which he replied, "I must not have prayed that day!" Erik was drinking a beer, which a couple of fans thought was strange until he pointed out that it was an O'Douls. Also, Metallica was playing the huge amphitheater across town that night...one of the band members (don't remember who) mentioned that it must have been a very difficult choice to come and see Tourniquet vs. Metallica. I said, "Not really!" Saw Metallica many, many times over the years, but only got to see Tourniquet this one time. So many memories from that night...no regrets!

I grew up on it, but God Christian metal is/was bizarre. "Don't think you're or too cool or God will fry you like Korah." I like the moment where Guy hesitates like he *almost* realizes how weird and twisted what we was saying was.
